How to: Draw squares on an Excel worksheet or chart.
Solution:
Click 'Rectangle' toolbar button. Position the cursor where the square is to begin. Press and hold down SHIFT and the mouse button, then drag it to draw a square.
1) Display the 'Drawing' toolbar if it is not already shown on the screen.
a) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Toolbars...'. (This displays the 'Toolbars' dialog box.)
b) Select the 'Drawing' check box.
c) Click 'OK'.
2) Click 'Rectangle' toolbar button.

3) Position the cursor where the square is to begin.
4) Press and hold down SHIFT and the mouse button, then drag the mouse to draw the square.
5) Release the mouse button.
NOTE: The style, color and weight of the arrow can be changed by selecting the 'Format' menu and selecting 'Object...'.
